If anyone has time. Check out Nix vs Alabama highlights.

He destroyed Ben Jones. It was hard to watch. Manhandles one on one blocking.

He's currently healthy and is a lot lighter at around 330lbs. He'll probably stay around that weight, and him mainly being a 2 down player the low mileage will extend his career a lot further. Now if he lives up to the hype of his Wilfork comparisons then he'll be an every down lineman. Either way, great pickup when people had him slated to us at 2.1.

    Starters: Crick, Nix, Watt
    Backup: Jamison, Powe, Ricardo???

    Starters: Mercilus, Cushing, Reed, Clowney
    Backup: Tuggle, Mohammed, Sapp, Tarpinian

Very happy with the starters, would love better depth.

Great pick! I think he might turn out to be one of the biggest steals of the draft.

Do I like this pick? Heck yeah!
Texans get a high grade so far with:-
    Best OLB
    Best OG
    One of the best TE's
    Best DT/NT
Texans and Rams top of the draft so far.

    LOVE this pick huge value!

Don't forget like half the draft from last year are basically redshirt freshman. Quessenberry, Brennan Williams, trevardo, bonner etc.

Add them to this class and we could see a pretty big impact.

    Great draft so far!

If Mercilus can get out of his own way we might have a decent dLine for a few years.

I just noticed that he had 7 sacks last year. If he could get 3 more than that every year I'd be ecstatic.

Bonner is the slot receiver right?

I wish Sam Montgomery stayed in shape and wasn't such a bum. Had 1st round talent.

Anyway I agree all these guys are basically rookies.

Hilarious. He said he was a Five Guys fan, but is done with them unless they have salads. He added that he wants to stay sexy after slimming down to 330 pounds. lol. I hope he has a long career - seems like a good guy.

Most of Mercilus' sacks were either coverage sacks or sacks that he had little to do with if I remember correctly. I remember quite a few situations where the QB was running away from Watt and essentially ran into Mercilus who got the sack. He doesn't really move the pocket, he just sort of runs right into his blocker and stays there.
