I think so...I don’t see role player acquisitions fixing this

I agree...we get swept or lose in 5 if GS has that 1 game where they have a bunch of turnovers and shoot horribly while we have a really good game offensively

IF paul cant play like an above average player

And gordon doesnt come back healthy

these games are gonna be rough.

Harden had a good/decent game tonight ....( he got a bit frustrated in the 4th and airballed some shots )
    Clint had some nice moments
    Ennis looked fine
    PJ has been awesome
Melo looked bad, but at least he hustled and didnt look too bad on D ( yeah adams out muscled him but thats OK )
Hart and Clark looked like rookies
    Green was himself

Thats 7-8 guys performing about as expected..... yeah it would be nice if melo made those shots , but he didnt disrupt the " flow " of offense tonight.

It really was just paul looking like utter crap.

No one is beating the Warriors this year. I don't think Butler even gets us close to that, makes us better, but not that.

Need to start planning for next season. Sit Harden with mysterious injuries and Lie down for Zion.

We have what we have right now but the future surely doesn't look too bright. We have no youth. The window was last year with this group.

Butler trade ain't happening. The TWolves have one of the worst front offices in the league, they don't know how to help themselves even when help is offered.

They'd rather be a borderline playoff team this year than accept 4 first rounders, that tells you a lot.

We're old and barely move. That has to do with coaching and the refusal of our star players to push the ball more often. Paul and Harden want to play at the slowest pace, and MDA wants them to shoot whenever they want or someone else to shoot right away.

You literally couldn't design a worse fit for the direction the NBA is going in. These guys have to look inside and not point fingers, they are perfectly capable of changing. Harden, Paul and MDA are the primary reasons this team is losing as much as it is, and Tilman is the reason that the ceiling of this team is lower than the ceiling of last season's team. If Morey had other options, then Morey deserves some blame too, but I bet he was only allowed minimum signings.

This is systemic, so you have to hold those at the top responsible. It's not one or two things wrong. Everything is functioning poorly.

Frankly, I would try getting Paul and Harden to push the pace a lot more, go back to cutting out mid range shots as a rule, and call out the players who are not attacking the rim. If that doesn't work, dump Gordon, PJ and picks for Butler. Call this season practice, and focus on the following 3 years.
