Don't lose all hope just yet. I feel that we still have a great chance of making the playoffs despite Capela's injury. In fact, I think we may be able to climb up the standings. Take a look at our opponents for the next 6 weeks: 1/14 Grizzlies 1/16 Nets 1/19 Lakers 1/21 76ers 1/23 Knicks 1/25 Raptors 1/27 Magic 1/29 Pelicans 2/1 Nuggets 2/2 Jazz 2/4 Suns 2/6 Kings 2/9 Thunder 2/11 Mavericks 2/13 Timberwolves 2/21 Lakers 2/23 Warriors 2/25 Hawks 2/27 Hornets 2/28 Heat If we keep playing the way we've been playing the last 4-5 weeks and beat the teams we're supposed to beat, I believe we can win 15/20 games. The only teams I can see us losing to during this stretch are: Raptors, Nuggets, Jazz(due to b2b), OKC, Warriors. Right now, the West is still up for grabs. But with our upcoming schedule, I'm confident that we'll be able to hold the fort down while Capela nurses his thumb injury.
Harden gonna show all dem haters his god like carrying abilities. He managed to carry a bunch of scrubs consisting of Black, Dmo, Jones, and Asik to the playoffs w/ Dwight out, he gonna do it again with cp3, gordon and capela out or get injured doing so.

You believe there are teams we are “supposed to beat” with our 2nd, 3rd, 4th best players out? We are taking years off of hardens life already.
Looks like an 11-9 stretch, probably worse though, doubtful we win 6/7 at the end of that stretch. People underestimate how good Capela has been and how poor we are in the front-court now.

Rockets got caught running naked. This will force management to address the depth issue which will be good long term.
1 gordon he was one of the main reason we struggled this season, him not playing is a BIG BIG plus for the rockets 2 cp3 was careless with the ball, missing wide open shots, missing clutch free throws shooting career low on 3pt yeah i dont think he is a net negative player but rivers will be able to fill his role just fine .. rivers hardly ever commit turnovers i trust him more with the ball than cp3 who is flashy but is contaminated by hardens turnover disease 3 capela you gotta admit he played well but then again hes not some intimidating rim protector that we gonna miss and ppl scored on us with ease when he was on perimeter and i witnessed before harden made scrub centers look good on offense so i think we will be fine without capela, 4 now harden will play with urgency and thats when he is at his best 5 another positive is a lot of playing time for clark, danuel house hartenstein rivers players that showed so much promise whenever played
The non contenders is the one that worries me. We lost to Cavs,Magic,Wizards, and twice to the Mavs. It seems like they play better against contenders. Its seems they lose focus and play to the level of these bottom feeders.
