This finals has brought me a new sense of the word conflicted. I hate Payton, Shaq and the entire Mavs org. I have to root for Heat because the Mavs suck big Donkey B@*&s! I hope the Heat come back and win the whole thing, that was the Mavs get for planning a Victory Parade after the game 2 win
LOL! I'm sorry, I'm with Mr. Dwyer on this on. I enjoy watching Dirk play the game of basketball, even if he is on my archrival's team. I don't care. The guy can play ball. And he has steped up his game so much this postseason. I'd also like to point out that crap performance he had against PHX (I think he had 11 points or something) and came back the next game to score 50. My point? Dirk will be back, Mavs split the last 2 games in Miami, wrap it up in Game 6 in Big D.
The guy can play, that's all I'm saying. I'm not really cheering for him, but I want a good game, and I want superstars to be super. Dirk was doing that. After these last 2 games though, DWade has put himself on a whole other planet.
If by Dirk being "super" you mean be a baby, and by "play ball" you mean flail his arms in the air every chance he gets, then I agree completely.
You gotta root for Texas teams, fellas. I'd be cheering for the Spurs if they were still in the game!
