that's kind of the entire joke.

the one thing I look forward to each year is trouncing the Knickerbockers in some demoralizing or demeaning way. no one else in the NBA is paying any attention.

but I go out of my way to find a Knicks/Rockets tie-in, and over the years the two franchises have had many small if not bigger connections and storylines.

and yes, t-mac was traded to NYK as part of the Kevin Martin & Carl Landry deal. he played 6 games for Houston and 24 games for NY that year.

Quite amusing, she forgot to mention how butt sore New York was when Yao decide to re-sign with Houston instead of going to New York, after his rookie contract.

Simply put, the entire NBA has owned the Knicks for over a decade. Wake me up when they can put up a +.500 team in that crappy East.

that actually scared me for a second. What you should really do with that gif is animate it. the first 3-5 seconds are the original followed by the quick cut to the Souless Monster. and maybe a TV snow screen to end.

When did Dork Elvis become the Souless Monster

That was actually funny. Good post. I especially like the bit with Oakley.

Great call! Maybe with a caption that reads "Morey: Dork Elvis, or Soulless Monster?"

edit: if I had time I would try to do it -- but you know who would kill that -- Rodman23 where y'at? [IMG]

The funny thing is Morey does look like the fat dudes that like to do Elvis look-alike impressions. The hair weave and everything...

the 2012-2013 season was by far their best since the year 2000.

it was a 60 win team that lost in the 2nd round to Indiana.

other than that it's been 15 years of crap mediocrity

Well I still can't forget when Jamal Crawford sank the winning three on that one game.

who ever called Knicks vs Houston a rivalry? just cuz they played in the finals decades ago...(shrugs shoulders). the only teams i HATE as a knicks fan are boston and bk

by watching more of the rockets, i respect the texas triangle rivalry (spurs, rockets and mavs). those games are HEATED and competitive

I think Knick fan favorites such as Oakley, Mark Jackson, Weatherspoon and Charlie Ward retiring as Rockets because JVG was coaching here helped with the Rocket hatred over that span as well.

    lol

Ridiculous to hate a team that that is never played. There must be little to report on to even let this article be published.

Remember when Carl Landry had a super dunk against the Knicks, and then pointed to his little bro on the Knicks bench?
