31MPG 66%TS, 10+WS, .230WS/48 at age 22? That's one of the most efficient age 22 seasons of all time. If you go to BBREF and sort all age 22 seasons by WS/48 amongst players who played 30+MPG, James Harden is tied for 3rd alongside KAT and Shaq, behind only Amar'e Stoudemire and Chris Paul (who should have won MVP that year over Kobe). It was obvious he was going to be a star in Houston, but nobody expected a perennial MVP candidate.
there s no need for a rebuild when they can have 3 all stars right now...cp3 capela holiday...plus an excellent supporting cast... the whole point of rebuild(hello reason, wake up!!) is to have a good team, well guess what after their rebuild is done they wont have 3 alstars nor team this good... teams with 3 allstar level players are rare in the league why suck for 5 years only to have a team that is not even close to being good as the team they can have RIGHT NOW(hello brain wake up!) cp3 can play on elite level as 2nd 3rd fiddle for the next 3-4 years rememebr he s only 7 months removed from his best season ever where he was the best player in WCF and best player on the rockets in the entire playoffs.. (hello logic are you still there!!) which player can play alongside harden and be better than him? you need to answer numerous points that i elaborated above and in previous posts instead of just disregarding everything by 'putting down the pipe' until then i will consider i won this debate and you have run with no arguments to offer
There is a chance Lakers offer all 5 young core players for Davis. All of them have rookie contracts. That is unbeatable by deadline. Do the Lakers really want to bid in July? Celtics are waiting for them. Lets have dinner with Davis first.
AD is going to the Lakers. He wants to be there. LeBron wants him there. Magic will find a way to make it happen. End of story. If we can pick up other pieces by getting involved in the trade, awesome.
Idk man, why would the Pelicans trade him to LA, when Boston and the Knicks are waiting in the off season, it doesn’t make sense.
AD let it be known through his agents that the ONLY team he would re-sign with after this contract expires is the Lakers. Boston can trade for him if they want, but they better win the title quickly because he'll walk in summer 2020. This entire trade-request thing was done now to ensure he'd end up with LA.
Yea but it’s also been reported that Ainge has no problem with going for a rental. Just something to think about, if I’m the Pels I would wait. And honestly AD not going anywhere gives us a better chance this season.
Davis is not on an expiring contract so there’s NO rush to make a trade. Why not wait until this summer after the draft to trade for the #1 pick... Zion Williams? Anything short of the #1 pick or an all-star player is a bad deal for the Pelicans. If Davis was on an expiring contract it would be different, but he’s not.
This might be true but i'll believe it when i see it, especially if he would've to trade multiple 1st and Tatum...cause for George and Kawhi he didn't, and i mean, they were expiring, sure, but still...
