Harden better fits the definition of MVP, but Curry will win it as best player on the best team record-wise.

Apparently there is a players MVP this year along with other awards. He'll win that one but not the media one.
The James Harden vote for James Harden as MVP will tip the scales, I have no doubt, Seriously, though, I do think it's telling that Wade and Kobe, multiple-time champions who have sustained terrible injuries in their career, both pick Harden and both explicitly mention him carrying his team through all the team's injuries this year. Those guys understand the situation firsthand better than anybody. That Cuban and Sir Charles would pick James is telling as well, given their general demeanor towards the Rockets. Doubt Cuban would say that now.
The Blake Griffin vote also has the full weight of Kia behind it and comes with a black church choir to enthusiastically sing about Harden's dominance in simple and advanced metrics. I'm suddenly feeling a lot better about this.
Just to add to your thread.... Blake Griffin http://www.latimes.com/sports/clipp...urry-james-harden-nba-mvp-20150410-story.html Damian Lillard https://twitter.com/thenbabulletin/status/573589282708922369 Eric Gordon http://theadvocate.com/sports/pelicans/11931815-148/pelicans-eric-gordon-says-houstons Melvin Hunt (Coach of Denver Nuggets) http://www.denverpost.com/nuggets/ci_27923968/nuggets-coach-melvin-hunt-gives-his-opinion-about And most importantly.... James Harden is the MVP of the season, according to fellow NBA players http://hoopshype.com/articles/hoops...of-the-season-according-to-fellow-nba-players
Anthony Davis -- http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/03/31/anthony-davis-says-james-harden-should-be-mvp/ Davis was on the Dan Patrick Show Monday mostly talking Kentucky, but Patrick asked him about the MVP race. Davis tried not to pick anyone, but then eventually leaned Harden. “It’s tough. A lot of guys are playing out of their mind. James Harden, Russ (Westbrook), Steph (Curry), LeBron (James)… “(Harden is) out of his mind. He’s definitely playing out of his mind. We talk about this on my team every day. It’s like every day. I think with him not having Dwight [Howard] for as much as he did, and he still competed and is still winning games for them, it’s unreal.”
