So far she has done a better job at it the 45 has by far sometimes people have to be saved from themselves.
It's not Lina or Abbot's job. Texans need to buy little bullets to shoot the tiny covid particles into submission. Deregulate and conceal carry your way out of this mess Proud Warriors!!!
I really think they are underestimating how many people comply with masks. I was in the other thread talking about the high deaths among blacks. I live in fifth ward. I work at Lowe's in the Heights. EVERY customer has a mask on. We're definitely not as strict as other stores. In the hood people dont wear masks around each on the street but its not many people in the street. Irs hot as f##k. Where there are people, they are complying

Most big Texas cities no longer have their COVID-19 threat levels pegged on red (highest) alert. Dallas is in orange, Austin is in yellow and San Antonio is in green. But Houston is still stuck in the red. We have been in the “stay home” alert for more than 3 months now. We wanted to know if the numbers are looking better, why are we still in the red zone? “If I were advising the county, I would say it probably is time to reduce that threat level, cause mostly everything is moving in the right direction,” said Dr. McDeavitt. Instead, Hidalgo addressed the issue and doubled down. She’s sticking with Red = Stay Home.
Harris County recorded 128,000 votes on Tuesday, the first day of early voting. That's reportedly more than the entire state of Georgia. It's the most early voting in a day ever in Harris County. Amazing! Keep up the good work, Lina!
Mayor Sylvester Turner is proud to announce that the City of Houston is now pothole-free! Mayor Turner was quoted as saying "I have delivered on this campaign promise to Houstonians that I would make potholes on Houston's major thoroughfares a thing of the past!" By signing an executive order at City Hall this morning, Mayor Turner reclassified all current "potholes" in the city to "natural road-wear speedbumps." With this reclassification, Mayor Turner has also outlawed the use of the term "pothole" when referring to natural road-wear speedbumps. Rep. Shiela Jackson-Lee (D-TX18) offered her congratulations this morning to Mayor Turner by saying "Mayor Turner has addressed two concerns of his constituents and many of my constituents - the potholes and the lack of speedbumps throughout residential areas. Mayor Turner got rid of all of the potholes and now my constituents have plenty of speedbumps throughout their neighborhoods like they've been asking for. And the most impressive thing about it all is that he did it with the stroke of a pen! Congratulations to Houston, and to Mayor Turner."
Are you referring to that alleged big Black Lives Matter supporter who managed to endorse Stop and Frisk Mayor Bloomberg in his two month, billion dollar presidential campaign?
