Haha. Harden did exactly what he was supposed to.

The play Lin called is a pick and roll out Horns, with the initial screener (the PF) then coming off the flare screen by the center, which would look like the video below if well executed.

By no means did Harden screw up the play or ignore it. If anybody is to blame there, it's Lin for not passing it right after coming off the screen (instead of making that turn pass) or Dwight for setting a lazy screen.
There are a lot of things you could criticize/blame Harden for, but this is not one of those things.

Harden's like honey badger. He just doesn't give a shiit.

He doesn't look any more apathetic than the other guys walking to their spots. Not sure why Harden's being singled out.

No! Harden is just full of himself, and wants to travel to the beat of his own drum.

At this point, Harden is the worst franchise player we have ever dad.
And maybe D12 will compete with him for that.

Uhh you don't know what you are talking about. If you want to bury your head in the sand and jump to conclusions, feel free. The corner man was already standing still in the corner before the play was EVEN called. Harden was where he was supposed to be when Lin made his move. Further, the clock being down to 10 is not really an issue in the set, a shot will develop fairly quickly.

If you want to find Harden blowing offensive sets, you can do better than the OP's clip.

Could very well be that the other player sense McHales lack of confidence in Lin and then ignore his direction.

Harden should go to Bev's spot.. if you want to execute the play correctly

I wouldn't go that far, but he really needs to change his demeanor.

    Or maybe it's this.

Every Rocket player on the court last night had issues, literally every single one. This team still has a long way to go, so let's not throw the blame game around, because every player deserved blame for last night's lost.

Or...... it could be that LIN did not execute the play properly....

Seriously, people to at least know what set is being called and how the play is supposed to develop..... as I said, Larsv8 and now HMMMM said.

If you just want to rip James, that is fine, but at a minimum know what you are talking about.

Further, if McHale has so little confidence in Lin, why did he have the ball in his hands?

We played Kentucky in Rupp Arena in 92. It was packed,20000 strong and it was very hard, damn near impossible to hear anyone. Even during the t.o. the coach was yelling because it was so loud. That's why they use hand signals.

when they were communicating parsons pointed at harden and pointed to the other corner, I read there supposed a flex screen near base line to get either harden or bev a open shot. no base line action at all the the one they actually brought was just too simple to get a good shot. I insist they supposed to run a better version but adjusted for the uninterested teammate and pick the simple one.

Ball is in Jeremy's hands so he can pass to harden. Lin walks up to perjurer and then gives it to hardn who holds if forever

Young players tend to lose temper in the heat of the moment, no surprise they're angry at each other at times

    http://www.sportsgrid.com/nba/this-weird-on-court-exchange-between-james-harden-and-jeremy-lin/

"No one can deny that James Harden is one of the best players in the league right now — not even James Harden. But perhaps all the attention is getting to Harden’s head a bit — he appears to be clashing with his own teammates on the best way to run the offense, i.e. through James Harden, and it’s way too early in the season for that kind of drama.

Harden is a ball-dominant guard, which means he needs to rock to be effective. Jeremy Lin, who was benched at the start of this season partially because he’s also ball-dominant, is supposedly the team’s point guard — meaning he calls the plays relayed from the sideline and runs them to the best of his ability. So take a look at this crucial late-game possession against the Lakers last night, and notice what Harden does (around the 0:07 mark) while Lin calls a play:"

Didn't look like he was calling a play, but telling guys where they should go. We never call plays, except for pick and rolls.

Damn it at this point, our championship aspiration is all riding on Harden. Whether he owns up to his mistakes and fix it, or just play the blame game will be the factor in a ring next year

Let's do a Breakdown on the play and what's really going on!

-0:08-0:10 Lin is telling Bev and Harden to switch. The reason is simple, but we will look at it later. All we need to know is the following. Meeks is NOT going to leave Harden. Keep that in mind.

-0:11-0:12 Lin notices that they are not paying attention and decides to run the play as it is. You can tell he is frustrated and he should be.

-0:13-0:16 Lin drives to the right taking Parsons screen. Kamaan comes to help Blake. Now PAUSE:

Notice how Nash is guarding Bev and how Meeks is guarding Harden. Ok, switch them up and look at that. Bev has an open lane to the basket for an easy layup. However, this can't happen with Harden on the right side because his man is not going to leave him no matter what. Bev doesn't demand that attention at all so Nash would commit to Lin and Bev could just cut to the basket. This is the reason why Lin told them to switch, Lin was going to drive to the right and he needed Bev to be on that side not Harden.

    Let's continue:

-0:17-0:18 If you noticed, the pass now goes back to chandler who SHOULD be open, however Howard doesn't screen Gasol so he is able to come up to Parsons.

Pause at 0:18: Now, notice how Nash commits to Parsons (He can't let Parsons drive to the Lin. Bev is just standing there asking for the ball when he should be CUTTING for again... another easy layup. Look at how far Nash is from Bev and how open the lane is. At that moment the defense is broken. Nash would have to run to follow Bev, Kaman would have to commit to Bev's cut to not let an easy layup and you would have Howard by himself for an easy dunk.

I will leave it at that. This just shows how everyone is lost. Bev is just asking for the ball but is not cutting or moving. Howard is being LAZY. Harden doesn't care one bit. Seems that he only wants to do ISO and bring our team to victory like he always does.... The only two that were committed in that play was Parsons and Lin.
