This is big. Philippines is the only asian country that love basketball more than soccer or any other popular asian sport.

These guys will be like rock stars out there.

    Ya.

I mean, why do you think the Rockets get to play in the Philippines? Because of Parsons? I guess Yao-connection doesn't hurt, either and the Pacers have no Asian player on their roster that I'm aware off, but you'd have to think Lin is a pretty big factor why it's the Rockets that will play in the Philippines, no?

So how much is the NBA paying the Rockets organization and the players to do this? They also have to play the Lakers in China as well.

The Pacers are going there as well though. Also Lin is American right he was born in Cali. He is just as American as Katy Perry. He isn't filipino.

    This is hilarious.

Great news for the country. Visited the motherland last June during the conference and NBA Finals, and the people were so invested into the NBA. When I was in Boracay, shopping at some mom /pop shops about 90% of the employees were glued to the Heat/Celtics game on a 13 inch TV set at 11 in the morning

Do you think it's just coincidence then that we are playing in an Asian country?
