I love the serious reactions people give to these types of threads.

With that being said I choose Lin, he is the second coming of Shaquille O'neal and Randy Johnson

This is another reason for us to have tanked and fire sailed guys like Kevin Martin, to create space for players like Lin.

All I know is that the McHale really failed in recognizing talent here. Maybe everyone did. But McHale got to see him every day.

It's hard to believe that he couldn't get any sense of the kids potential.

Lin is better than anyone I have seen. This poll should have been Lin, Jordan, Bird, Johnson, West etc. Out of all those, I'd still pick Lin.

40% voted for Lin? What the ****? Seriously.

And then you have DD saying Lowry is a really good point guard but not great? WTF is that even mean?

I assume the a lot of members are of the Asian ethnicity thats why this pole is so close?

Other than that the people who voted for Lin are probably bandwagon Rockets fans... aka the left over YOF's.

Both are good...... Lowry has a stronger build.... Lin is bigger......
Lowry is still a better consistent rebounder, vocal leader and has a better defensive game, better shotblocker

With that said, Lin is awfully closed. Remember we we were talking about him as a 3rd string player months ago, and now he is No.1 in NY. WOW just wow

Didn't watch the game just the Box score. Was Lin able to stay in front of Rubio? I know Lowry couldn't do that at all. smh, lin is screwing everything up.

Jeremy Lin is way better than Kyle Lowry. That's a fact.

Lin was not guarding Rubio most of the game.

Not really, but rubio can't shoot so it doesn't really matter. Rubio made some ridiculous passes like between Tysons legs.

    No. Freaking. Way.

Lin is first string because they do not have another point guard on the team.

8 for 24 shooting tonight. 6 turnovers. 20 turnovers in the last 3 games.

Sounds like an inefficient scorer who is putting up numbers as the go-to option.

Do not compare him to Lowry. He isn't even close....

I'd say that's an opinion. I'd like to give my opinion now... your opinion sucks.

Now I suddenly happen to create this thread and all the buzz......
He is playing great...... as Lowry has been playing great during the first 15 games.
    Nitpicking or not.

Rubio had a solid outing as well. Good D..... You bet without Rubio Jeremy goes for 30.

I now I can't cry over spilt milk but if the Gasol trade had gone down Lin would still hve been with us being the number 2 point gaurd since Dragic would have been traded.

Lin is a byproduct of the Pringles System.... but I think he is still a good PG......in any other system... maybe 16 ppg 7 assts..... Tony Parker lite not so efficient

That's funny bt you nknow what is even funnier is that there is a poll on NBA.com on which young point gaurd you would like to build your team around between Lin, Rubio, Wall, and Irving and Lin is dominating that poll with 56%.

Maybe over Irving but no way over Rubio.

    Now Rubio is a superstar????
You have to SCORE and DISH if you are a superstar..... Tony Parker aint a superstar and he is droppin 30 pts a night and dishing 8 assists.

You have to drop 30 any given night, dishing above 8 assts a game, shutting down, or at least giving the opposing PG a hard time, then you are considered at least a borderline superstar! Rubio is not there.
