Neither Lin, nor Parson will be able to shoot better if the Rockets play the way it is, those two are just not the spot-shooter type of players, they need to get a flow to shoot, but the Rockets' recent plays have reduced them into spot-shooters.

Not sure if that's the play-call, or the players doing themselves.

he needs an ego... he's lacking the attitude of a shooter...

    Is he a spot-up shooter?
    Is he Goran Dragic?

I hate to say it but with the addition of Harden and subtraction of Martin, they really needed another preseason. Our offense was different with Martin in the SG spot, because they learned how to pass to the open man or find cutters to the basket. Now it's changed to a more trial and error approach.

I'd prefer to see him hit the broad side of Matt Barnes, actually.

Yup cause kevin martin was gonna lead us to the title

im gonna be honest, im a HUGE kevin martin supporter but on this team, he was gonna drown. he needs to be on a team where wont be the #1 option and the trade was perfect for both teams. You can say all this "hoobidy hoopla" but your whole belief that martin is the difference on our team then youre completely wrong

And he will still be the starting point guard on the All-Star team.

He would have big year and Lin would lead Rockets to wins when he would be primarily ball handler. And if it didn't work out, you'd trade Martin for picks and give Lamb a chance. You'd still have Toronto and Dallas pick.

Martin would've netted us who? honestly tell me who could we have gotten with the same impact of harden? also the toronto pick would be in the top 8-12 in the draft cause we all know that toronto isnt bad enough to get top 3...OH and btw its top 3 protected (in a VERY weak 2013 draft) Also the dallas pick, is top 20 protected and they wont be top 10 good for awhile so i dont see us getting there unprotected pick til 2018.

is there someone we couldve gotten in 2013 draft besides shabazz and nerlens that can become "harden like good"? i think not sir

Note: Two of Lin's 3pt plays in the DET game were counted as 2pts cuz he stepped on the line.

I liked Martin also and the offense was much more free flowing, but Harden is better for the future of the Rockets, he's younger and just a more dynamic player. Right now people need to be patient as they figure out to play together. Unfortunately, I don't think the coaches we have are the best, but hopefully they will make adjustments. We can only hope.

Lin needs to try mid-range shots. He's probably only taken a few of them in all 4 games. Well, he hasn't really taken a lot of shots overall.

On a serious note WTH is every ones problem stop blaming others dammit!

Lin is shootin 23% from 3 b/c it is his own fault not Harden's.

I liked Lowry and think he is a little better tan Lin at this point but he forced the Rockets to trade him. If your not happy that he left be pissed at him not the Rockets.

This sounds like the exact same thing one would say about Melo and Lin last year.

Relax calm down ~ let both of them learn to play off each other. If they get back to the offense they were working on preseason and was in place for the first two games. Harden will naturally use his abilities to exploit opportunities.
