Why do people keep posting stuff about this? It's literally the last thing I want to see when I come to this website. I'm still certified salty.

What, you guys don't have fatheads of the Lillard shot in every room of your house yet? In my house, I have a slightly different instant of the shot in every room. And the last one is a floor-to-ceiling fathead of his face grimmacing like a tough guy... on my bathroom wall.
The ball was in his hands for at least .9 before the clock even started. Then it took him another .4 just to shoot it once the clock started. If not longer
No one cares because he was open. "Don't let the refs decide." was never truer than this situation. If they just played defense for one second then it wouldn't have mattered.
Seeing this clip provides very clear evidence that Lillard caught and shot WITHIN the 0.9 seconds. The ball has left his hand at 0.5s remaining. Remember that. The ball touches Lillards hand at the 4s mark of the video. At the 30s mark, the clock has changed from 0.9 to 0.8 (doesn't mean it started there, it started sometime earlier and the 0.9 ran down to the point where it changed to 0.8). There is a maximum of 26s of footage that you could accuse the timekeeper of fudging. However, at the 56 second mark (26s after it has ticked to 0.8) - the ball is leaving his hand, and 0.5s remains on the shot clock. You do the math, in 26s of footage 0.3-0.4 ticks off, the ball leaves his hand with 0.5s on the clock, so at worst the corrupt time keeping stole 0.4s - which didn't make a difference in the end anyway. At best, it was started as soon as is humanly possible after he caught the ball, and Rockets fans are complaining about nothing.
even if it was 0.4s it would have counted per stern's shot rule. youtube derek fisher's shot against the spurs
******* what a clutch shot. Ugh. It hurts so bad, but at the same time you can't help but to give Lillard props for that one.
We lost because we are a STUPID team. It pains me to say it, but its true. Poor bball IQ from the coach on down.... end of story.
