Hey Fellas, I love the trade of Glen Rice, a broken down, crippled has been- for a player who helps improve the overall talent on the roster (Amechi) and allowed us up cap space to pick up JJ at the small forward spot. This is a definiite upgrade in tallent for this season. Compare Hawkins, Morris, Tito, Collier, and the other garbage we had last season to JJ, Amechi, The Polish Rifle, A Griffin, and Wilks. This group is better hands down!!! Rice was an over paid defensive liability, and JJ will be an tough SF on both ends of the court. Now to the $7 million dollar trade exception, by gaining this , the ROX now have leverage against every player on the team regardless of their over price salaries, to trade them if they do not buy into the Van Gundy system. Players like Mo Taylor, Moochie, CAT, Cato, and even Francis can not just refuse to buy into the system and think that they will remain on this team indefinitely. This gives the ROX flexibility to move any problem play to any NBA paradise like Atlanta, Memphis, Toronto, LA Clippers or to Utah. Therefore, Yao will now get his touches, Francis and CAT will pass the damn ball, and no more dribble, dribble, dribble, forever by the guards while the rest of the team watches the 24 second clock run down. The roster has been upgrded and the playoffs should be in our future!!!!!!!!:D :D :D
