Presumptive. Many, many in the GOP are not opposed to either. Personally, I have no problem with preventive birth control. I do have a problem with abortion except in cases of rape or endangerment to the mother's health. I am more sympathetic to abortion when both mother and father agree to it because a father should have rights too. However, even in that case I can't wholeheartedly endorse killing a child.
Medicare is a fund to which all working persons contribute, some more than others. It would be hypocrisy when an old conservative like me gets sick and takes Medicaid.

thats too bad in this case.. the video makes a valid point.. Bill Maher has said far worse things about women than Rush and the liberal media never threw such an outrage and made it such a big deal as in this case. I said all along in the other thread.. the whole thing had nothing to do about what Rush said or if Fluke is a slut but everything to do about partisan politics and the media blowing it out of porportion as they always do. good video Basso - repped

I have to break my own proposed rule to make the suggestion, but what if nobody responded to a basso thread for a month? Zero replies. Then maybe nobody would respond to one for a year. Just imagine. Disagree. The issue (and video) basso posted is highly relevant and well worth discussing. Just because the video exposes the hypocrisy of the left is no reason to ignore it. Kudos to basso for this thread.

Just watch the video. I thought a lot of good points were brought up. A lot worse things were said about Sarah Palin and no one as much blinked an eye. Anyways don't you think this whole issue about Rush and Fluke has been blown out of porportion? Everyone should just move on to more important things by now. Obama personally getting involved just seemd a bit too much. Thats just my opinion.
