I think its asinine to place a certain criteria of whom to send based upon gender, age, and health. I am suggesting everyone whom is interested be under consideration, that is if the organization was to decide to send a random fan to go! F the sick kid, the old guy, and the hot chick, send me!
If we get the number 1 pick this year I will personally drive to every NBA arena in a 40 day span next year Im calling it now Anthony Davis and D-Mo on the same team would leave me in a state of hysteria and permanent excitement shock

No kidding! I've lost track of the number of times I've seen her on League Pass from Austin, cheering like crazy. It's like seeing a friend in the crowd, although I only know her from here, obviously. As I said, why not? I think it's a great idea. My opinion of Alexander would definitely rise as a result.
No disrespect, but Clutch (#1) is by far and away the biggest Rockets fan. I don't see how anyone can present an argument that could potentially unseat him from that spot.
The point isn't to pick the #1 fan. How on earth do you even measure that? Longest living fan? Most games attended? Most money spent on team? Most knowledgeable? Loudest? No offense to Clutch, but he could realistically lose out on every single category. Same goes for Rocketgirl. However, my belief is you have to go with someone with a proven, known, and documented record of their dedication to the team. More than likely that would point to a younger fan. I would imagine Clutch is ineligible because of Clutchfans. Rocketgirl has all kinds of proof of the things she's done as fan. And it's not just attending games, collecting memorabilia, or racking up posts on Clutchfans. It's without a doubt real because there's pictures and video involved, both personal and professional. Even the camera guy seems to look for her specifically at games. It's known because fans recognize her and she's socialized enough with members of the organization for them to feel comfortable sending her, and that may be the most important reason to pick her. Very few people have that resume as Rockets fans.
When Clutch walks into the room, this songs goes off in everyone's head <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/W0Q1cFhRJY4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
You're right. I'm glad we're able to have this discussion as fans on the fan forum... that CLUTCH created. Boom.
