Prognostication is really, really hard. I think what people were really off the mark on is less how Chris Paul and James Harden would fit together, and more on the level of play from the rest of the roster around those two. Capela has gotten even better; Ariza has been more efficient than anyone would have imagined; Gordon has continued to do his thing; and both LMM and Tucker have been tremendous signings.
Kenny was so off here ... yikes. Chris Paul is useless? It only made sense with Carmelo Anthony? LOL.
Bill Simmons was very, very skeptical. Also didn't consider Chris a top 20 player anymore and said he wouldn't be suprised if he fell off big time. Now that he's been proved wrong, he talks about how he doesn't enjoy how the Rockets play.
