And I suggest you not pigeonhole everyone with your stereotypical views. Not everybody is obsessed with making piles of money. It's certainly not the driving goal behind my life.

Having a burning desire to win multiple championships or to become the best basketball player in the league are more respectable goals than becoming a billionaire, in my opinion. He's already set for life financially and has more already than he could ever possibly spend. Live the dream and just play ball instead of piling up more cash that you don't need.

That's one of the most nonsensical posts I've read on this board tonight. Why is winning a championship a better goal than being the 1st athlete to earn a billion dollars? He isn't hurting anyone with his goal and it's what he desires. You'll still get what you want, because he WILL become an amazing basketball player who will most likely win a championship. But he'll grow into that role for his own reasons, to make money. The better basketball player he is, the closer he is to reaching his goal. Can't have one without the other.

And how do you know how much money he "needs"? What if his REAL goal in life is to buy an Island in the Pacific with mango plantations and villages populated with beautiful large breasted women. Who are you to pass judgement on his dreams.

Not everybody is as idealistic as you, I'm sure Lebron will sleep soundly at nights not living up to your standards.
