"First of all, I never told anyone to confiscate any tapes," James said. "Nike has a no videotaping policy at pickup games. They've always done that. It just so happened that LeBron was involved, so now it's blown up."

Haha he talks in third person

99% of stars are like that. i don't know why we expect them to act any differently. the spotlight is always on them.

Noone ever shakes hands at the end of a game, ever? This guy is really trying to make the headlines every week of the offseason.

Indeed. If shaking hands and accepting losing was good enough for the former greats of the game such as Bill Russel and the like it should be for Lebron as well. It just shows how spoiled he truly is.

I've lost lots of respect for LeMe on this one.

When you make the kind of money that Lebron is making....you can neglect some societal norms.

    (To a certain extent)

give me a break lebron. that excuse of NIKE always having a no camera rule makes absolutely no sense.

as we can see from the footage, the reporter obviously filmed most of the pickup game without being asked by the staff about anything. now moments after lebron gets dunked on, NIKE staff comes and confiscate everyone's camcorders. if NIKE did indeed has a rule like that, they wouldn't even allow people bringing cameras into the gym let alone allowing people to record almost the entire game

    1) I'm not a LeBron fan and kind of dislike his public persona.

    2) He's the best player in basketball right now.

    3) I'll agree to disagree with his shaking hands philosophy and call it a douche move.

    4) The documentary is supposedly really good and when LeBron and his whole team screened it in Silver Spring (norther DC border), he stayed an hour afterwords and did an unscheduled Q&A with the audience.

    5) Even though I'm sort of on the LeBron hater side, I think he gets short-changed a lot more than he deserves in the PR department. He's not a bad guy and his public missteps haven't been that bad. He needs to learn from Shaq. Shaq has done such a good job with his playful image that when Shaq does douchebag stuff, he usually gets a pass.
