Someone doesn't seem to know the difference between a first and second option. How many MVP votes did Harden get when he was on OKC?

    This x1000!

That person should have their voting rights taken away for sports and for elections.

    And he's what, only 28?

Hard to see him slowing down anytime soon.

It's scary to think that he can be even better by next season. If he increases that FT%...wow.

Yup. Also, Duncan and Parker are each in the top seven.

LeBron could have been the first ever unanimous MVP in the history of the NBA.

But a fan of the NYK decided to troll with his/her vote.

He needs to get versatile and try out some other sports. Pretty boring to always go to work in a basketball jersey.

Don't be afraid to challenge yourself lebron.

Congratulations to Lebron James...Well deserved. He's shut the haters up and then some. What he did last year during the post-season was amazing. He carried a team full of scrubs and two ailing stars all the way to championship. It must be nice to ride Lebron's coattails.

    I can see it now.

The follow-up to ABC's "Shaq vs."

    "LeBron vs."

That playoff run he had last year was historic, and like JVG said, everyone remembers that game 6 in Boston when he was in God mode, but the most impressive game was the game 4 in Indiana when they were down 2-1 and Bosh was out. That was his best game as a pro, and one of the best performances ever considering the circumstances.

lebronā€˜s only shooting FT at 75%. Kinda scary to think that he can still improve.

So, he voted for him because Carmelo had a good april. /nodding

(I'd accept the 'lead the league in scoring' as an answer if he also voted Durant the previous 3 seasons, because then at least he would be consistent in overrating that stat.)

    Definitely doesn't make any sense.

'Melo might have had a good April, but LeBron had one of the best Februarys in NBA history, I'd imagine.

And he wants to talk about Melo carrying his "old" team to the 2 seed? The voter doesn't realize that NYK had Chandler (DPOY before Gasol), Smith (current 6th man), and able bodies in Shumpert, Felton and Kidd.

LeBron had an oft-injured Wade and a dinosaur. They also had 27 straight wins.

And the voter goes on to try and defend his vote further by thinking that other voters will vote for other people besides LeBron, so his vote for Melo was justified.

So ridiculous. No one deserved to be MVP this year, but LeBron.

Karl Malone won an MVP when he was 36. LeBron is 28. 8 more years of potentially winning another MVP. Kareem has 6, MJ and Rusell have 5. I think LeBron will end up with 7 or 8 when it's all said and done. KD will most likely be the next guy to reign over the league though.

    Former LeBron hater here.

I must say it's been amazing watching him grow as a player and even more amazing watching him grow as a person these last few years.
