Ironically as bad people bash the Heat's point guard position, they in reality do not struggle with point guards as much you think.

It's even funnier, you mentioned Parker and Westbrook. Look at the numbers in those games, you'll find something that doesn't quite necessarily support what you said.

The team that would scare the Heat the most are the Lakers. They've got the real bigs and Kobe. The other teams, not so much, because those teams have size, but they aren't necessarily go-to bigs.

Outside of LeBron's no show games, the Heat had a number other problems in the Finals - their defense started to decline, the bench started to play worse, Spolestra made alot of bad decisions, and even D-Wade did not play all that well.

I just realized that this is also the first time a Miami Heat player won the MVP award. Congratulations to the Heat. You are a legit NBA franchise now.

Except this year, Haslem and Mike Miller are healthy. And they added Battier.

Exactly and you can't deny it. Also you can't blame him, it was his decision to make it was legal so everything is ok.

Still, only thing you can blame him for is an example he set. Stars want to play together not against each other nowadays which sucks and hurts competition in my eyes.

U have Bucher on ESPN saying in his ballot he had Kobe at #2 over KD.

I'm telling you man, some people shouldn't be allowed to vote b/c they don't even watch the game. Some pure stupidity spewed by Bucher on ESPN.

The best player of this generation should jump off a cliff?

The point is, he already hurt his legacy. People said this that summer. He'll win a ring but it won't be the same as if he won a ring in Cleveland which many wanted him to do. Not saying he should've stayed in Cleveland, he could've gone anywhere else besides Miami too. He didn't have to team up with the other best player in the league because right now you can say Wade is #2 behind LeBron as the best players in the league. That's my thing with LeBron. You can say oh yeah he wants to win to so he'll go to the best opportunity for him to win, but that also ruins the competition of the game. Having Wade vs. LeBron match ups are fun to watch.

When it's all said and done, Lebrons legacy will NEVER compare to the best player of this generation which is Kobe.

There's a few things wrong with that statement. First, the best player of this generation is Duncan. Second, compared to Kobe, the only thing Lebron's legacy lacks is a FMVP. If he wins one, then it's debatable who had the better career. If he wins 2, then Lebron definitely comes out ahead.

For the same reason Kobe was able to ultimately get it done after pathetic showings in the 04 and 08 Finals, or Dirk doing the same after his massive choke in 07. Sometimes guys get it right from the jump, like Jordan. Sometimes they fail first and get it right eventually, like Kobe and Dirk (yes, Kobe failed the first 2 times he tried to LEAD a team to a title). Sometimes guys get it right, have an epic choke job then rebound (see Magic).

LeBron has responded to the choke with one of the best individual seasons we have seen. Let's see if it carries over to the postseason.

Other best player in the league? How is Wade the other best player in the league when he isn't even the best SG in the league? He's better than Kobe? Durant? Howard? CP3?

As I've always stated, if it's ok for Magic and Kareem to play together or Shaq and Kobe then no one should have an issue with LeBron and Wade. You aren't trading any of the guys I mentioned for Wade.

Competitive balance....blah blah blah. Nothing has changed. The Heat aren't even in the top 5 when it comes to total team talent that I've seen play basketball.

If you can you win with Cleveland, you do it. Other than that, TBH you don't want to spend your whole career with one of the smallest market in the NBA even if it's your hometown. The best player should move to a bigger city, that is understandable.

Because the mavs were super hot. It was unbelievable how hot they were. I mean, they freakin swept the Lakers! The heat literally sleep walked through eastern conference and Lebron was amazing. Then they ran into Dirk and the hotness of Dallas. Jason Terry couldn't miss, Dirk was amazing - it was ridiculous. I don't think that happens very often for a team to come in that hot. San Antonio can possibly do it but come on they don't have anyone who can guard Lebron and Wade. Heat should win this easily unless something crazy happens like last year. Dallas winning that was crazy. Nobody expected it.

IIRC Stevenson made half of his shots in the Finals, and all but a few were threes.
