Hakeem didnt have to defeat a team as stacked as the warriors.

This 65 win rockets team wouldve won in most years but we have to deal with these golden state warriors. Why not fight fire with fire and stack the deck?

he cited some non-friendly tweet from gilbert's side actually. anyways nick is pretty reliable and a huge lebron fan so i tend to take his word

He said it's a work relationship, you dun have to love your boss. Anyhow, we'll wait and see.

He does not exactly like him, I get that.

you added in your previous post that nick is a rockets sympathizer. perhaps relatively speaking when compared to the majority of national media who dislike HOU and despise harden. but in any case, nick is first and foremost a lebron fan before anything else NBA. and again i take his word on this because he's also one of the very few analysts who doesn't bullshit and takes his platform very seriously in terms of respect for the game and how it's reported on

I get that he has to if he wants to win championships. But Bron is just as guilty as KD in my eyes. He's been trying to stack the deck since his first stint in Miami. He just picked poorly. I'm sorry but as a life long Rockets fan any championship that comes from stacking the deck will rank much lower than the ones where multiple teams were evenly matched and the difference was one mans superior will.

I am just saying, he is an analyst first but is he also a breaker of news?

If he is a Lebron Homer, I am even more inclined not to believe him other than what Lebron is leaking himself.

I need a reliable source who is not a Lebron homer or hater, an objective source.

I hope he is an objective Lebron fan then. Lol.

If Chris Paul is falling apart in the next years, does the Rockets have a young star not named Capela who can be counted on to replace Paul?

    Lebron thinks about that.

he said lebron is leaving CLE for sure, not that he's leaving CLE for HOU

But I think the average fan would know that Lebron is inclined to leave them.

I hope he provides more useful news as to where he goes.

ANYplace LBJ goes becomes a contender! And remember, whereever he goes others will (try to) follow.

I would love that. After that we can still find a way to get PG13 or kawhi.

Does contender mean losing in the Finals to Golden State? Getting swept?

Only LeBron knows what he is thinking. But that doesn't seem like a very good way to try to chase being the GOAT

Pretty dadgum impressive to me that that man has played in 9 consecutive Finals. Nine consecutive trips to the NBA Finals. Very impressive.

Comparing him and MJ is a bs kind of exercise IMO. Wasn't that the Kobe argument for years? Now, argue them all over the Big O. Or the Magic of the '80s. (IIRC E'M'J also had 9 Finals appearances, tho not consecutively.) How 'bout any of the Mount Rushmore of bigs? Nitpicking who is #1 is such horse hockey. My opinion, of course. (Too) many have the opposite opinion; I just think they're wrong.

If you discount nine consecutive trips to the Finals as not being a contender then... Well, sheesh, LBJ is one helluva ballplayer and competitor.

They still have Smart and Rozier. They don’t need Kyrie at all.
