In the 3rd quarter, yes. I'll never forget that game 6 in Boston last year. If he has that much in his reserves, then who cares even if a team goes up 3-0 on them.
Everytime he has one of these games/quarters, there seems to be a reaction from the media/fans as if they're surprised, because he's never been clutch like that before... which of course, is ludicrous. He has games like this, sometimes multiple, every playoffs it seems, from his Cleveland days to last year. Do you want to see more of them? Sure, the greatest players being on fire is always fun to watch. And could you argue that's shrunk at times when you hoped he'd be clutch... sure. But other than very very very few players in the history of the league, everybody has had great clutch moments, and not so great clutch moments. I'm not a huge Miami fan. And the Lebron signing fiasco was just that, a fiasco, that didn't endear me to him. But it's hard not to root for him at times, and just want to see that greatness on display.
He pretty much bust clutch stats in the league when he was a cav and then he went to the heat and his clutch stats got terrible and he slowly building it up.
Well all I know is this is LeBrons team. Always has been. Wade and Bosh look like they are about to fall apart and die.
LeBron is good, but I don't think he's "I can bring my team back from 0-3 down in the CF / Finals'' good.
I read an article earlier today and saw an interesting comment that said one of the great changes over the past year is how before the Heat won the title, ESPN used to spend so much time talking about how un-clutch Lebron was, but as soon as they won, the network was conveniently able to recover all this footage of fantastic big-game and big-moment play from him from throughout his entire career.
Well a lot of people white-washed it now but before he went to win a ring MJ was criticized the same way because his team kept getting eliminated by Detroit. The media (and most people btw) doesn't really recognize greatness until it slaps them in the face, and then they act like they never doubted the guy in the first place.
Lebron still isnt as dominant as Jordan was. I dont know about ppl thinking Lebron sucks but many of us root for him to fail b/c of the way he has gone about getting his ring and possibly future rings.
