And that's the reason to hate him? He put in some serious work to get into the NBA dude. With his physical stats prior it was a long shot.

daddy made an average of less than $1.5M/year during his 14yr career. after taxes and expenses they probably had less than $7M in assets afterall >>> hardly coming from money.

reading comprehension rook…..that's the reason the league/espn are promoting him….b/c it's good for biznass

but otherwise, the reason to hate him is simply b/c he behaves like a little b**** on the court.

Harden clears off as much or slightly less than Lebron.

As an offensive player, you have the right to slap or move somebody if they reach in. Most of the times, you'll de a GSW player holding his left arm as he drives to the bucket. Instead of extending the arm like Harden, he swipes them away.

That leisurely walk was totally uncontested by the Warriors and the real action hadn't yet evolved! If that was a make up call by the refs, it should of been on a non-contact play as well! If not then they are not equal in value, because a foul penalizes the player/team for contact, where as the traveling only turns the ball over to the other team! Not the same...

Use those post Moves All the Defender has 3 options.
    1. Play real defense and probably get scored on
    2. Flop and get an offensive foul
    3. Hack and not get the foul call

Holding arms out to entice the opponent to slap at them is not the same as ducking your head down and bulling into the lane like a fullback and knocking defenders down.

He gets away with things like traveling and pushing into people, but if he was fairly officiated he should lead the league in FTs every year. He attacks the basket so much and people grab at him all the time, but he is bigger/faster/stronger than anyone else so they let them get away with it.

    This is all correct.

If I were being kinder to the refs, I'd say that LeBron (and Dwight) is/are so strong that the contact - though clearly a foul - doesn't look like one because they can keep playing through it. If Iggy came down on Curry's arms that way Curry would crash to the ground and probably sub out to be rehabbed by the trainer for a few minutes.

I think the ref was thinking:

Lebron traveled! But I was told not to call traveling on him. Oh he got hacked! Only after he traveled though. What should I do?

5 seconds later....too late to call anything now. Just pretend I was blind.

I don't think anyone can argue Curry and Howard get the same whistle when either being fouled or fouling.

Howard is on the far end of the spectrum in which his strength has become a liability for him unlike Shaq who was allowed to play his game. Curry is on the other end in which he gets away with moving screens in which he often gets a call if the player barrels over him. In addition, he gets away with fouling a bigger player or himself being fouled even mildly if at all.

In between, Lebron and Harden, to a certain extent, are closer to Howard insofar as calls are concerned. You'd have to be either a really subjective ie homer or just plain ignorant.

Isn't curry a freak of nature that could do a 400lb dead lift while leaning forward?

The most egregious thing from last night was Draymond Green not being called for that flagrant foul. If that wasn't a flagrant, then Dwight needs to have every single one of his fouls from the playoffs rescinded.

Yeah, he and Klay are the whitest african americans i've seen play ball. I'm not racist... and on the contrary, just telling it like it is (read between the lines). Not taking away anything from their abilities. I'm just pointing out this fact. The fact that Delavadova, single-handedly shut down Curry shows you that he is just a really good jump-shooter. They just embellish and reach on most of his stats and give him lots of commercials.

Everyone would foul out if they called ALL the real fouls. It's a flaw of the game, we're going to have to live with it or stop watching.

true. but, otoh, if there's a set of rules in a sport, consistency is a must. no one is expecting to see a contact-free game in today's bball. all people want is consistency.

i think there are a few reasons why the NBA is making GSW the darlings of the NBA: the bay area and silicon valley are booming right now and the media can never seem to shut the F up about start ups and techies, new long term financial opportunities for marketing a young and rising team(similar to OKC), curry and thompson are very light in skin complexion which appeals more to certain viewers, and also curry and thompson look 'clean cut' with no tattoos and no boisterous attitudes.
