I am not even saying Cat had a good series. He shot below par throughout the series, including a 1-6 performance. He may have even had the worst series of any of the starters, but I would not vote that way. I am saying Cat did not do anything to cost the Clippers the series. There was no game that his bad performance lost for the Clippers. Given his involvement in the offense throughout the series, however he shot had a minimal effect, since he only got about 10 shots a game even though he was playing over 40 minutes. He put in the effort on defense and played a ton of minutes, he left everything on the floor, and that is all anyone should ask of him and all he was asking of his teammates.
i dont deny cuttino's heart, but his play was terrible this round. i believe if cuttino played up to his offensive abilities, then the clippers would have won this close series. his shot had a major effect, a few 3s here and putback here would make all the difference. if his rival, Raja Bell missed as many shots as Cuttino, the clippers would have won. Cuttino played hard, but he didnt step up.
