If they continue the pace they have played at over the last 19 games , 10-9 for the remainder of the season they may not make the playoffs WITH Harden.
That pace would give them 49 wins ..... It might take 50 to sneak in as the 8 seed.

Curry will win the MVP the same way Nash won it with Phoenix. Sexy team with a flashy offense and a great record. He's not the best player in the league that's just a ridiculous comment. If you were to redraft the league he would arguably be the 5th person taken.

Lebron, Durant, Anthony Davis in some order. Then Harden and probably Curry.

In order for Harden to win it this year, Dwights going to need to step it up.

Curry should've been given that second T when he charged at Ariza last game...

    That's incorrect.

Last season ('13-'14) when we swept the Spurs, Duncan, Parker and Ginobli played in all 4 games and Leonard played in 3 of the 4.

The prior season ('12-'13) Duncan, Parker and Ginobli each played all 4 games vs the Rockets. Leonard played in 3 of the 4.

This season SA sat Duncan, Ginobli and Parker the first time we played this season. In the 2nd game Parker and Leonard were injured.

In the last 3 seasons, SA has sat their star players 1 time vs Houston and that was because it was a back to back.

The Nets also beat the Heat 4 times last season then lost in 5 games.

Don't compare the regular season when it comes to playoffs. Regular season is just to be in the playoff hunt and get a seed. Playoffs is a different animal. I fully expect the Rockets to be better in the playoffs, all these losses will help them get better and healthier.

We were also missing key players in those match ups last season as well. Harden and Dwight were out at least one each. Pops definitely tried to win those games, I remember him playing his vets 40 mins in a couple of those games which he usually never does.

If you want to awArd the best player on the best team, You give it to curry. If that's how you view things than that's fine. But harden is more valuable than curry. If we were to lose harden we would be royally screwed, but if the warriors lost curry they would still be a good team, probably still great.

They have a dominate team on both sides of the ball and there isn't much they aren't great at this year. But that's not what defines most valuable player. Give kerr coty For what they are doing. He deserves it. But give harden the mvp because without him the rockets would be outside looking in.

They way ours is tearing up the league while playing defense and carrying the team is astonishing. He has been extremely clutch this year as well.

Championships >>> MVPs. Ask Barkley, Malone, Iverson, Nash, Rose, Durant(Too soon for the last two?)

It's funny how when GSW is #1 miraculously their roster is called super strong while year ago it was like "Mark Jackson is such a good coach leading GSW to playoffs with their crap roster". Food for thought.

So why harden being 4th deserts MVP and Curry not?

The only way Curry does not win MVP is if Durant gets himself and his team to the another level after All Star break.

I agree with you, Curry is better than Harden, but I also believe Harden is the best MVP candidate.

Curry is playing as well as Harden, but Harden has to do more than Curry does for his team to win.

If Curry takes a night off, the W's can still win, if Harden takes the night off the rockets are hurting for any type of offense.

Kerr is making Curry look other worldly with his schemes and great coaching. He also has a way to kind of stop Harden

McHale is a liability to Harden with no schemes or structure to get Harden open looks or no defensive scheme to stop Curry.

Switch the coaches and Harden would be considered better than Curry.

    Win > Stats.

Morey should really look at Golden States roster and take some notes.

Curry is not better than Harden. He's got a brilliant coach that sets up the best open looks for him to shoot. He might be a better shooter than Harden but that's it.

The Rockets' success or failure is entirely up to how Harden performs.

The Warriors' success or failure is entirely up to how the team performs.
