SO i got a little over zealous. It would be nice if we could trade some of our players and have a dynamic threat like that.
So, do you people realize that the NFL has a hard cap? Texans actually skim pretty close to it. I think MAYBE we could get Reed, he's friends with Andre and maybe they could sign him to a vet deal for about two years but if we could get him for cheap then he'd just resign with Baltimore for cheap. No way this team gets Revis or Fitz. If we are going to get another star player it's going to be a 2nd year player that makes that jump that players do like Mercilus or some guy we sign in FA that no one expected to come out of no where. It's a nice fantasy though.
Well, my point really was that we need to sign someone that can make a difference and help us get over the top to win the Super Bowl. Can't they make trades or something to acquire players. We need a dominant player that makes every one around them better. Andre doesn't influence people cause he doesn't talk but his play helps other play harder. Cushing was the heart of the defense. Watt tool that role once he was gone but Watt. Like a QB to lead a team. We need leaders like Reed!
