No, he was never coming here. Folks didn't want to believe it. Media is purposely excluding them! Media isn't including them because Daryl wants it quiet so he can gain the upper hand in sign and trade talks! ...and other silly conspiracy theories.

They are old, but let's be honest - they are the best ran organization in the NBA. Sure, Duncan, Manu and even Parker are nearing the end. But Kahwi and Danny Green aren't and I just don't expect the Spurs to stop pulling rabbits out of their hat until Pop retires. As much as I hate that Aldridge chose the Spurs, a part of me is thrilled to see a small market Texas team like the Spurs beating the hell out of the big market teams like LA and NY.

Best short term chance of a championship plus lots of money. If the Rockets upgrade themselves to a championship level by the February deadline, we can knock LMA and Duncan out. I don't think we can get Lowry right now, but the Raptors will probably end up in some trouble by then, and acquiring Kyle will be easier by then. There will be other players available too. Don't get too high, don't get too low. Go Houston Rockets!
Lock up J Smoove and get another point guard like we should have been doing this whole time. I honesty like the improvements of capila and dmo and would not to lose their upside.

No surprise and of course Houston was not on his short list, would you play third fiddle to Harden and Howard, knowing Dwight is way worse in the post than you but will demand touches? Too crowded in the paint and we had no space anyway. Good choice LMA, Spurs are best organisation in the league.
