Over a 3 1/2 hour delay starting with about 3 minutes left in the first quarter. Folks were there starting around 10:00 AM for the 11:00 AM kickoff.
Wife and I stayed until around 2 pm. Lots of people at the beginning but majority won't deal with a nearly 4 hour delay. We went through like 4 lightning clock resets before giving up.
My wife had class until 3:30 so I dropped her off and went to the game and stayed through the delay. They wouldn't let her in the stadium with her backpack so I ended up leaving just before halftime.
Brandon Wilson got hurt. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Tom Herman: Brandon Wilson had lower leg contusion, X-rays negative</p>— Joseph Duarte (@Joseph_Duarte) <a href="https://twitter.com/Joseph_Duarte/status/774743065407819780">September 10, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Does the NCAA not track sacks as a stat? The last two weeks I tried to find out how many sacks Ed Oliver got after the game and none of the box scores show defensive stats except for maybe fumbles and interceptions.
Wasn't quite as impactful. Seems like most times I saw him he was double-teamed. Didn't play the 4th quarter. Defense looked good. Very businesslike effort on offense without Ward and Catalon. Good to get this one in the rear-view with a big game coming up on short rest.
Given all of the near upsets and upsets this year by small schools, I give him balls for going with the reserve unit. I spent the 2nd half with George Clinton thanks to the big lead, snippit below.
