Are you serious? Get off the ledge. The Rockets are going to be in the mix for home court advantage. The Lakers will be in the mix for the lottery, yet again.
He wasn't on waivers, he was amnestied. So you put in your secret 'max bid', and at the end of the amnesty period, the winner is announced. It's all very exciting.
Most likely start Boozer, and play him 25-28 minutes. Gives Randle time to grow, and not get overburdened. Ed Davis is there as backup in case someone gets injured.
So people are saying Ryan Kelly may have been waived to make room for Boozer. If so, I wouldn't mind making a run at him.
lol honestly boozer on their team isnt that bad, he was just overpaid but he can actually produce. not the WORST signing ever.
exactly...which means they probably have better Bubble Tea, too. You know how those 14yr old LOFs love their Bubble Tea
And for the record...a KOFH, too. Kobe Fans vs Lin Fans LOFs don't know what they are getting into. cue the tinman video music explanations
Getting Boozer at about $3M is a great deal for the Lakers instead of having to pay his entire salary. That and the minimum contract they signed Ed Davis to makes up for that stupid $9M per season deal they gave Jordan Hill. What I don't understand about the Lakers is that they seem to only be signing power forwards this offseason.
He does help at some things, but the dude lost his job to Gibson. He's was star in the perfect system in Utah, but has since gone downhill. He's been shooting worse 3 years in a row. I guess he's due for a bounce back, but I skeptical. I think the Lakers will miss the playoffs again (I know, that's not going out on a limb at all, lol).
