    He played under MDA.

Given said that, as a pass first PG, and 40% 3pt, he is a good fit to Harden and Howard. Not too sure about his defense though.

His defence is worst than Harden... but that's another story on its own. Could definitely see improvement.

His defense is horrible. Part of why Meeks got a lot of starter minutes is because it was either Meeks or Nick Young at the 2 and Meeks' D was better. D'Antoni needed Meeks to help cover for Marshall the same way Beverley helps cover for Harden

Sad thing is it's not like Meeks was a lockdown defender in the first place - he's more of a be aggressive and go for steals kind of guy

It's one thing to "stuff the stat sheets" with points, we're talking about assists. It's not easy to stuff stat sheets when you're racking up assists on a team with nobody on it.

People criticize his defense and seem to forget he played on a team with a coach who had horrible defensive principles. He made good defensive players look bad on defense. You definitely scoop up Marshall. Marshall and Beverly would go a long way towards stabilizing the PG spot.

It is when the team is #2 in 3P made, #3 in 3P% and #2 in pace.

    jimmer fredette, kendall marshall.

Fredette is like... the best shooter in the NBA.

Marshall is like... the best passer in the NBA.

But coaches don't want guys out on the floor that mess up team chemistry because they just aren't athletic enough to play any defense. I guess that is what is happening.

It seems like Marshall would be a good fit for the Rockets. He has good size for a point guard, he's a good passer, and he is a good three point shooter. He was a lottery pick in 2012. How can Morey not pick this guy up?

    Watch him play

You'll see a guy who's slow and ball watches without a sense of urgency.

His defensive effort is as laid back as his twitter feed

Hey, any time you have a chance to pay Swaggy P an extra $400k in free agency by waiving a non-guaranteed veteran's minimum contract of a key player from last season, you HAVE to do it!
