Spurs win the series in six games, hopefully

Expect one of the youngsters to step up their game ( like SJax did through out the Suns series ), and some decent contribution from BigDave as he enters this series healthy enough. :)

spurs in 7...spurs match up well with this team. it will be interesting to see if fisher can keep it up this series. the lakers need consistent production out of him with fox out of the lineup. also, the lakers cannot afford to play like they did against the t-wolves if they expect to beat the spurs. they lost their focus too often, and its hard to just turn it on when you need to and expect to win all the time. this laker team reminds me of the rockets after they won their 2nd championship. it seemed like the rockets just accepted that they would be there in the end and that they would continue to comeback from being down in the series. the lakers seem to be that kind of team this year who just expects to win because they have done it in the past.

also does anyone know if bateer is on the spurs roster for this series? he would be a good big body for 6 fouls against shaq.

He posts at the Spurs fan feedback forum on woai.com. That is where I read his prediction.

I don't have anything against him. I'm sure he's probably a good guy. It's just that he may be the only person on earth picking the Spurs to win in 5 games.

Do you really expect the Lakers, with a reasonably healthy Shaq and a 30+ per game scorer in Kobe, to beat the Spurs only once? It's comical.

He hasn't turned on the Rockets or anything though. You can see more on why The Cat no longer posts with this link:

Tony Parker has to play better than he did against the Suns if San Antonio has any shot of winning. He needs to take advantage of his quickness over Fisher.

Spurs in 7 tough, low scoring games...

If Parker can Bibby the Lakes then Parker will be matched with Bibby in WCF.

The ultimate indignity -- Lakes' run ends in decisive Game 7!

Spurs won the regular season series 4-0

Spurs match up very well against the Lake show.

    Surs have home advantage.

    Lakers are defending Champs

    Lakers have Kobe and Shaq.

    Laker WILL MISS Rick Fox.

Lakers will not double team Timothy Duncan the way phoenix did.

Admiral's back is suspect. Kevin Willis is all muscle and little substance.

Spurs have a Chip on their shoulder.

Spurs will win the first 2 games. And win either game 3 or 4 on the road. What happens after that is not very clear but ........

    Spurs will win the series.

They sure did against the Garnetts. They folded after he went off with his boo boo.

I knew someone was going to say that.

The much I can say is watch and see. Fox might not be a big part of the puzzle but his input can never be brushed aside. Missing a player like Fox can be overcomed by a team like the T-Wolves (who they have a matchup advantage) in an on-going series but it will be clearer against a Spurs team that get valuable inputs from guys like Stephen Jackson, Manu and Bowen.

I could be wrong but I doubt it.
