    Uh, that ain't happening for Cleveland. Those players are not gonna make a huge difference for the Cavs(this is assuming there are no other deals in the works today). All this does is give the Lakers a better shot at LeBron and another star free agent this summer.

    My first impression is this is a total slam-dunk move for the Lakers. They get rid of Clarkson's crazy contract AND pick up a first round draft choice for two expirings.

    Is that not the definition of robbery?

    On the Cavs side, I don't see it as a bet on this year any more than prepping for the future.

    Wow, IT gone!! He won't do well in LA, but guess will start in front of Ball. Lonzo won't have much help from him. All those NBA analysts who thought Kyrie was not capable of leading and IT being on par with him looking really silly. Ainge did very well.

    I like this for the Cavs future, not so much for LA. Would be really, really funny if Lebron ends up in LA with IT again hahaha

    I don't think Clarkson is a great fit really for the Cavs.

    This is a great deal for the Lakers. Rights to IT and a first round pick and they cleared salary? Great job.

    Not only are the Cavs not "wagering" on keeping Lebron with this move, they actually are opening the door and pushing him out.
    And helping the Lakers to get him as well.
