Until Harden steps up his defense and knows how to defer to teammates, he's another street ball player in the NBA. No heart, mental fortitude or leadership to pull his team through tough playoff series. Maybe it will come with time, but they way that his play has regressed from last season.... Dude must be toking it out in his LA home over the summer with his ladies..

He wasn't this bad last year and he sure as hell wasn't with the Thunder. Lately he's been "taking plays off" to a whole new level. Don't know WTF is up with him. He used to be a mediocre defender but not a terrible one. Now he spends half the game ball watching.
I am not sure whether you are joking around or not. if he did try to help lin to defend nash, he would have at least moved his feet a step. unfortunately, he didn't in that clip. only thing he did is to watch the ball, ball only.

Harden is a lacking a big motor. That's what his college basketball coach said. He has a powerful motor but he can't sustain it.

Coach should simplify Harden defensive role. No team defense. Do not help team. Your only responsibility is to stay with your man. Just be within arm length at all time. That's it.
