The Los Angeles Lakers have reached out to Lamar Odom to gauge the free agent's thoughts on returning.

Odom spent seven seasons with the Lakers, where he was a top contributor on back-to-back champions.

Odom averaged 4 points and 5.9 rebounds in 19.7 minutes for the Los Angeles Clippers last season.

The Lakers were at their VERY BEST when Pau played C, and Lamar Odom was the PF...

(And they ran the triangle offense...)

Screw the Lakers. The Clippers still have Odom's bird rights. Why would he want to play for them when he can come back to Lob City....

Someone tell the Lakers that rebuilding does not mean you try to get all your old pieces back.

Brooks at least has a legit excuse, with Ginobili unnecessarily half-court flopping his ankle into oblivion. Odom got signed by Dallas, whined like a baby, lost all his work ethic and was invisible every time he stepped foot on the court which he didn't do very much. No one hated AB for falling off because of injury. Odom was a straight joke. He belongs to the Lakers.

Shhh. If they burn their cap space it will be hilarious!

If baby bus gets rid of gasol the lakers could easily be a great team in 14-15, but if he does dumb quick fixes they could be awful for years. Man that would be nice!

Definitely Odom. Odom went from 3rd best player on championship team and a CAREER BEST year,

into just pure scrub playing even WORSE than Brooks's worse

When a poster here quoted all these laker fans' tears after the Dwight signing, my favorite was someone there asking "Is Odom available?" And now it could come true, adding double hilarity.

Is Rick Fox in shape?
