Honestly I am glad Clutchfans is not running the Rockets. You guys are idiots. You telling me you would reject the #2 pick, Randle (last #7 pick), and clarkson for Cousins? So essentially kings have the #2 pick this year as well as the #6. And randle. Kings were getting nowhere even with Cousins, might as well rebuild from through this strong draft class. Kings Possible Five: Deangelo Harrison Mclemore Gay Randle Cauley Stein Great starting point to rebuild
No chance. If Cousins with 3 years on his contract is available, there is no chance Philly doesn't swoop in and steal it. They have a bazillion more assets to spend.

i totally agree if they're not giving up the 6th pick, this deal is a steal.. people acting like cousins has put his team on his back or something. team only won 29 games last yr, (see davis) he got pelicans into playoffs last year. karl said this yesterday in interview, they only won 29 games... cousins isn't a rookie star anymore.
This assumes the Philly Ponzi Scheme that Sam Hinkie is running actually cares about making a run at Cousins.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">This is still a negotiation between LA and Sac. Likely the Lakers want the No. 6 pick and to at least keep Clarkson. <a href="https://t.co/JzYT91YDQ5">https://t.co/JzYT91YDQ5</a></p>— Kurt Helin (@basketballtalk) <a href="https://twitter.com/basketballtalk/status/613913360292298752">June 25, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Lakers are playing hardball to make it seem like they are giving up something when they inevitably accept the deal.
Minnesota got the #1 pick (Wiggins), Bennett, and Thad Young for Kevin Love on the last year of his contract. Sac should settle for nothing less than Randle, Clarkson, #2, a future 1st, and the ability to dump Gay and/or Landry. Despite perception, the Kings are in the position of strength. They don't HAVE to do anything for at least another 2 years. What will be funny is if the Lakers do this deal, they still won't make the playoffs....even if Love signs there.
^ I agree with everything you said, but I think they HAVE to fire George Karl. That relationship is over
This is completely ridiculous. There is no chance the Lakers get Cousins and #6. Zero. Zip. The Lakers will be lucky if they get DMC for every single last asset they've got.
if Sacto trade boogie they should be taken from the league and sent to seattle with new ownership. what a joke
If cousins truly gets trade I don't see how Philly doesn't trade #3/embiid or noel. This two alone is a better package. Not to mention Philly has a thousand more assets to toss Sacramentos way. Take Russell #3 and bpa at 6 while adding a top young center prospect. Nothing beats that.

Man, if David Stern were still the commish this deal would already be done and the Lakers would have Boogie, the #6 pick, AND Clarkson.
What the Literal ****. So Kings trade Cousins to move up 4 spots? LOLOLOLOLOL That guy should be banned from basketball for even trying to relay that, even if it's what he heard. Kings should dump Landry AND Thompson. King should get 2nd overall, 27th, 34th Randle, Clarkson, Black 2017 1st (unprotected) & 2019 1st (unprotected) If the Lakers are getting Cousins, and even then, it's a total steal for the Lakers because chances are that none of those draft picks, or Randle come close to being the player Cousins is.
