Lakers are a trash franchise now. Lebron is an idiot for going there if he cares about his legacy at all. People are actually saying Kd will be on his level legacy wise if he wins another ring, unthinkable just a year ago. His biggest mistake was stopping the Cavs from trading kyrie for Paul George and Bledsoe. Imagine the defense and star power on that Cavs team. At this point I’d put Bledsoe around the same level as kyrie in terms of overall game. Kyrie is crazy overrated
His legacy will soon be dead.. you are correct in him being an idiot for choosing his current situation. He really thought that stars would flock to him for pennies. The 1st problem is that players know magik has no clue running a franchise and Lebrun is a coach killer. With magik gone he had a chance but now he brings in Lue??? I think he’s content fading into the shadows..........
Who announces ahead of time that they are about to close a deal ... soon ... I tell ya? I'm not buying this. Lakers are trying to get other coaches to call them.
It's funny, how people are trashing Lue? Yet, what great coaches are on the market that would make the team, substantially better? Even, taking LeBron out of the equation, which coach would be worth a big signing?
Well, keep in mind what Tilman said about his sons, it is likely they will be taking over the FO at some point and we will be in the same situation.
https://sports.yahoo.com/sources-la...rd-coaching-contract-agreement-233408393.html The Los Angeles Lakers and Tyronn Lue are in the process of working on a contract agreement that would make Lue the franchise’s next head coach, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Lue, 42, has not accepted the position yet as both sides continue to focus on contractual parameters, sources said. If Lue takes the job, Frank Vogel — former coach of the Indiana Pacers and Orlando Magic — could join his staff as a lead assistant, sources said. Kurt Rambis — a former Lakers player and coach whose wife, Linda, is a trusted confidant and adviser to team owner Jeanie Buss — has had a significant role in the hiring process, sources said.
