SO MANY QUESTIONS. #1 is Cleveland better off rebuilding around Kyrie and shipping Lebron for long-term assets? #2 Will Lebron leave either way, now? #3 Could Kyrie to the Knicks facilitate a Melo-to-Houston trade? #4 Does Melo want to go to Portland? (not really) #5 Could Boston make a play for Lebron James for Isaiah Thomas? #6 Could San Antonio swing Kawhi for Lebron and both teams rebuild?
This could possibly shift the entire NBA so I doubt any deal is going to be made this offseason. They'll ride out the season.
Gonna be hard to pull this off. With Melo demanding a trade, if Kyrie does the same it's going to set a bad precedence that all you need to do is request the trade and it will happen
While this could end up benefiting us, just wow at kyrie Irving, dude will regret this move when he's older, Lebron comes and takes your non playoff team to the finals and wins and you want to act like a spoiled brat
Yeah most likely LeBron talks to Kyrie and they decide to give it one last try before Lebron can leave and Kyrie gets the keys to the franchise which is what he wants. Yes, the idea of the Spurs getting Kyrie and CAVS getting LaMarcus allowing Love to be traded for Melo doulble screws us by stealing Melo while bettering the Spurs, BUT KYRIE wants a bigger role. He wants to be the Kobe. That's not happening on a team with an established super star and not only will Kawhi be the face of the franchise still, but the Spurs are known specifically for reducing a role and playing TEAM ball. Kyrie wants to get his. I see no trade happening. But, if it does, it will be Clevland asking LeBron straight up RIGHT NOW: "Will you resign next year?" He'll tell them he doesn't know or he'll tell them straight up "NO." Clevland will be in the Lakers Shaq/Kobe situation nd be forced to trade Lebron and give the keys to Kyrie. Considering Lebron has the NTC, and we have CP3, I can easily see us being one of his choices. LETS GO ROCKETS!
Well.... 1 - Kyrie was part of that win, it's not like he was completely dragged there. He was a huge part of it. 2 - Maybe Kyrie asked Lebron what the deal was with his FA next year and didn't get a solid answer 3 - We can't trash them all the time. Trash PG13 for torpedo'ing his value. Trash Kyrie for giving them PLENTY of advance warning?? 4 - Have we reached the point with superteams that our minds are completely blown now when someone comes out and says the opposite?
