At this point the pick swap is useless, so I am hoping for a Nets Championship. It would be satisfying to see KD get a ring since he has so many haters, and people claiming he couldn't win without Steph. Also, for Harden to give up on them that early and to watch the Nets lift a banner would be amazing lol.

Nets just needed a serious head coach.

Nash seemed like the eastern conference Stephen Silas. Nice guy but just couldn't coach well enough or get the respect of the players to execute for him.

Maybe an nba coach has to be an a$$hole?

Nets keep this up and Tsai will be on his hands and knees begging Kyrie to re-sign

People in "harden back to Houston" thread seem to disagree with this take though. Something or other about Kyrie potentially retiring to the reservations at any random point in time. Lol
Kyrie is lucky that no one wanted to trade for him - playing with KD is perfect for him as KD won't ever call him out on his crazy ideas, nor force him into a role because of high usage like some other superstars in the league. Good fit and their top two record proves it.
With a top playoff spot, they can actually make some noise if healthy. All those people shouting blow it up when Nash quit should eat a crow.

Kyrie is a wildcard off the court, but the Nets can't afford to lose him. I'd love to see Joe Tsai try and get cute again with Kyrie's next contract, let's see how that works out for him.

    So now it's Nash's fault, not Kyrie's?
