Cavs play in the east and have one of the easiest schedules in the league so it shouldn't effect them too much. Mo Williams to start until then probably.
It could help them because love will have to be more assertive. And could hurt them because Lebron will have to pick up the load more to win which is what they don't want at this stage of his career. But like you said they are as weak as always in the east so that might not take much more effort.
