wow that sucks I miss Carl and yeah Sacramento is a mess up there, Evans is a great player but he isnt the type of player you will win a lot with. Cousins is an amazing talent but hopefully he will mature as he gets older, he is 19 so he has some time but it would be nice to see some progress at least in that department.

Hopefully Carl finds himself a place where he likes it this offseason if he isnt back in Houston

Good find - that was an awesome streak!

You could've at least spelled ONE of his first or last names correctly in the post title...

I'm thinking he was misquoted on that, otherwise that's a major slip of memory.

McGrady was a big part of that winning streak. A BIG part. Landry must have had a momentarily lapse in memory there.

    Selective memory.

W/o McGrady, that streak would NOT have reached 22 games.

    He carried that team

He's speaking the truth. They'll never win with Reke dominating the basketball.

I'm surprised there isn't more dissension in Sacramento, to be honest. When your entire offensive game plan is predicated on giving the ball to Tyreke Evans, and letting him dribble until he gets an open shot, you're not only going to lose a ton of games, but you're also going to have a lot of unhappy players. Sacramento has got to be one of the most unwatchable teams in the NBA at this point. Westphal has done a horrible job of developing players, and he's shown no creativity in coming up with ways to use Tyreke, other than giving him the ball and letting him run around for 20 seconds.

I would love to have Carl back in Houston for the sake of nostalgia, if nothing else. But, he would just be another undersized 4 who doesn't play defense on a roster that has a ton of those already. Unless we make a major trade, and free up some massive roster space, I just don't see how Landry helps this team.

Good thing DeMarcus Cousins didn't make these comments.

Man, that's sad. Kenny Thomas got discouraged with them, too.

Tyreke is like Steve Francis. I can see how Landry flourishes more in an RA system and wants back.

I can also see how he will forever feel an attachment to the Rockets due to The Streak. Love to get him back.

I miss that Kyle Laundry, and I knew his recent struggles were from playing under a bad coach in a bad system. KMart seemed to hate playing with that ball hog Tyreke also. Hope to see Landry playing like MANdry again on a better team next season. Read somewhere that Portland wanted to trade for him, so maybe he won't even have to wait that long.
