Also props to Paul for not flopping. You can almost sense Blake flopping from the bench by reflex from watching that dunk
That wincing motion, that facial expression, the fingers on the hands contorted up and grabbing the nearest piece of clothing like a baby would.
Paul and Kobe were going at each other the entire game...almost got into a fight...Kobe played excellent defense on Paul down the stretch of the game except for Paul's step back jumper(and you just cant do anything about great players making great shots)... Paul had another buzzer beating shot at the end of first half... great game...to watch in the 4th quarter, bc the 2nd and 3rd were really bad...and boring
CP3 is the best PG in the league no doubt bc of his ability to take over scoring anytime he wants..great players can do that... Rondo doesnt have that in his game, but he does make teammates better... What i realized after watching Kobe play defense against CP3(and he played solid defense on him down the stretch), you just cant steal the ball when he dribbles..He has mastered the art of maintaining his dribble(like breathing, its 2nd nature to him). And bc of that guards often times look like they are in quick sand against him not because he is explosive, but bc he can stop and start his motion at any time, truly testing balance and agility of his defender...
couldn't say it any better. I thought Nash in his prime years was good at maintaining his dribble but CP3 is just as good if not better.
remember the last time kobe dunked on a premier pg at that time, steve nash...... cp3 is coming to the lakers when he's all beat up and used up lol
