    Totally awesome for NBA fans in the Philippines! This kind of stuff should happen every summer in venues around the world. I can only imagine how excited they are. What a great lineup of players.

    Wait, will DeAndre Jordan have to kneel down to play or Kobe will be playing Center?

    Philippino leagues don't allow anyone over 6'6.

    Yup, that's the news over here. I would have been ecstatic though if they had invited Houston Rocket players to come over.

    By the way, Filipino players are not that short. We have local 6'9s over here as well as tall and beefy Fil-Ams playing in the pro leagues. I'm sure everyone will be star-struck. No one will care about the scores but having a chance to rub elbows with current NBA players.

    And the NBA players--I'm sure the Philippines is just a pit stop on their way to China where they can get bigger deals just to make an appearance. So everyone will be happy.

    Basketball is always televised here. I see local PBA (Phil. Basketball Assn) games available on livestreaming sports sites.

    Team Pilipinas won't stand a chance.

    I'm half Filipino half Australian, and I can tell you for a fact that scrubs in the Australian league have gone to the Filipino league and became Superstars.

    Superstars in the Aussie league don't even stand a chance against Euroleague teams, and if they do, then they move to Europe to play (Andersen, etc).

    Also, the Filipino national team has lost to the Sydney Kings several times in exhibition games. Sydney Kings, or a mix of NBA superstars, allstars and young talnet. Which of those 2 are better?

    got My ticket for this game btw il share the streaming Site here if i could get one. there some Rumor here in PI. that Javale McGee will be added

    So the Lineup for this Friendlies game is

    McGee?
    Durant/Williams
    Kobe/Evans
    Rose/Hardem
    CPaul/DFisher

    kobe will be the Playing coach for this team.
    DeAndre jordan Passport problems
    Wade and Griffin beg off due to there Commitment but would love to come next time around

    Chill kid this is only an Exhibition games! this is a gift by Manny Pangilinan (MVP) (soon to be owner of AtlantaHawks or SacKing whenever he preferred) to the Filipino's who are Fanatic when comes to basketball. both camps will not take this seriously is just for Entertainment purposes nothing more, nothing Less. and everyone knows that NBA all star will surely win this game on a big margin.
