People pitied the Clippers. No one pities the Lakers.

    Also this.

We all know Kobe (doin' work) by now. No doubt he wanted to put on a show for the media.

Purposely humiliating your teammates in front of outsiders to stroke your ego isn't going to get you leadership points.

I figured it was scripted, but you don't do that. Players shouldn't step on other player's toes. Lin is a free agent and he is trying to get paid. Getting called out for no good reason like this is only going to hurt his stock. All because he missed a jumper when Kobe dared him to shoot?

I don't care about Lin at all, nor do I feel bad for him. Kobe is just being an egomaniac and trying to sell tickets at the expense of a guy who isn't going to be there next season. It is obvious he was set up, which sucks for Lin. There is a reason the Lakers were given a first round pick in the trade and not the other way around.

Edit: Accidentally put my response in the next quote:

Lol. Stats and Kobe man. Always good for a laugh.

I love how all of the Kobe butt sniffers lap this up and love the savory taste.

Kobe decides to show up for the first time in months to a practice the media will attend. Then scream at the guys before leaving on his helicopter. He could use the Laker banners as toilet paper and fans would say he is sending a message.

My AP Government teacher in high school taught at Lower Merion HS in Philadelphia before moving to my hometown. She said he was a jerk who was disliked by students and teachers alike. In fact, he was so hated by the other students that he had to buy a date to prom.

There were rumors that he would tank his HS team in the first half so he could make a heroic comeback

Yeah, I thought it was pretty interesting myself. My teacher really disliked him. Every time I asked her questions to get more info she changed the subject.

lol Kobe is a dick man. People keep saying its just kobe being kobe. what does that mean? hes just being the ******* that he is? no wonder they lost 20 *****ing games. maybe if he practiced and bonded with the team more they'd have more chemistry.

kobe comes off as such a fake tough guy.

Agree man. Lin had better watch Hangover I, II and III to learn trash talk like real Asian. Ken Jeong is a LA native and a Lakers fan, I bet he'd help.

I feel kinda bad for Jeremy. He's just an average NBA bench guard and would probably have himself a nice little career, invest his money well, and be set for life with some great basketball memories.

But because of a couple of hot weeks early in his career, everybody turned him into Asian Jesus and now he can never, ever live up expectations again.

Undoubtedly, he is very blessed financially to be in the situation he's in, but I don't envy him emotionally.
