Kobe has a no trade clause. He isn't going anywhere that won't allow him to be a gunner.

Gasol at this point would be a stealth Morey move. His value is low, but just this past summer, Team USA had no answer to Pau on the low block. We have no low-post presence on offense. And he's on the hook for two seasons I think, which isn't too big of a risk. If they make this trade, I'd guess Lin would be one of the pieces since the Lakers like him and need some athleticism on the perimeter and since Harden probably would work better with a PG with a better 3 pt shot.

His b****ing and moaning will be enough. If he doesn't get what he wants and knows they won't win a championship you can bet your ass he will stat pad like no other.

Kobe can be very good in Chicago..

Doesn't take any personal responsibility... He is surrounded by talent. It never even crossed his mind that his defense could be part of the problem.

    Love it.

Nothing better than seeing a over stacked team struggle.

If I remember correctly, which I could be wrong, Kobe was actually saying he has THE team to win and there are no excuses for their losing.

Well from the thread title I expected something worse. This wasn't really a demand.

Lakers guard Kobe Bryant asked that all the criticism go toward him after scoring 26 points on only 10-of-32 shooting. Bryant attributed the poor marksmanship to "heavy legs" after playing 42 minutes. But he vowed he would adjust his game and enhance his post-game treatment entailing ice baths and massage therapy. "This team needs me on both ends of the floor," said Bryant, who has taken a larger defensive role in the past week. "So unless they're going to do something roster-wise, I have to continue to push through it." Does Bryant believe the Lakers' front office needs to make a move? "No," he said. "Listen, if this is what we're rolling with, I can't make excuses. I have to go out there and do my job." Los Angeles Daily News

Kobe did take responsibility for the loss today, for whatever that's worth. :)

NVM op posted tweets don't know if the guy in the tweets tweeted the rest of what he said. I didn't think the quote was anything anyway and now that the full quote is out it definitely isn't a big deal

He needs 14 other All-Stars and a HOF coaching staff with him to succeed. GOAT obviously.

Kobe: Look, I only got scrubs like Howard, Gasol, Nash, and MWP. I need more help, damn it! In the mean time, I'm gonna push through it by shooting 30+ shots a game.

Yes there was a more talented team. The 2004 Lakers with Kobe, Shaq, Karla Malone, and Gary Payton!
