There's a difference in the way MJ and Kobe took over games and the way Westbrook tries to. Westbrook will go through long stretches now without Durant where once he has the ball no one else is touching it. I'm not trying to say he should shoot less, but the ball does need to move around the court in the halfcourt to keep the other team somewhat honest. Even when Durant is out there Westbrook still finds ways to shoot more shots than Durant who by most accounts is the best scorer in the game today. Westbrook's play reminds me more of Marbury than MJ or Kobe. Even though they each put up 6 to 7 assists a game, that in no way is an indication of how unselfish they are on the court. Rather its an indication of just how much they dominate the ball and how everything goes through them.
Why would athletes like Kobe respond to the dumb media and fans? Answering stupid questions is the most frustrating thing ever. I work retail, so I know.
