Dudes blind in one eye...it took an accident that quite possibly could’ve killed a woman and her child, to realize...oh, uh, maybe I should position my mirrors so I can see properly...
It seems like the only people screwed here are the ones that have to share the road with him.
    Oh but she’s the ahole.

Sounds like you shouldn't be driving.

Also, honestly sounds like you are at fault.

You should have made some **** up (ie she plowed into me driving like a racecar driver and didn't fully complete her lane change, and i was in this lane for the whole day, explain how you slept it off before driving etc etc. at least make it fun). ,

And then finally said "review the tape" even though there's no tape. This way you'd have had more time to get free legal advice on clutchfans. With clutchfan lawyers on your side I'm sure you'd have like 2 new cars by now.

Hmmm, that's not my understanding. I thought that if someone rear-ends your car, they are automatically guilty of "failure to control speed."

You are correct that in general, there are a lot of aggressive, inconsiderate drivers in Houston.

Can't speak to the particulars of your case.

Drivers should be aware of when they are in another driver's blind spot.

What? Take the damn thing to court. You got screwed!

If I get pulled over, the first thing I do is roll down my window and say, "May I help you, officer?" Like he needs my help and I'm there to give assistance. Back in the '60's, when I had long hair and a KFMK sticker on my rear bumper, after about the 5th time getting pulled over for no reason, I started doing that. It seemed to help. One cop told me, "You almost ran that light about 6 blocks back. Be more careful next time." Then he went back to his car and split. I think that when I rolled down my window, he didn't smell anything incriminating and since I was polite, he decided to look for another hippie to harass.

Of course, that didn't work one time at night when there were two cops in the car that pulled me over, and I was taking a chick home. While one was ignoring my, "Can I help you?" routine and shining a flashlight around in my car, the other went to the rear of the '62 "Vomit" Comet I had at the time and proceeded to bust one of my taillights with his flashlight. I heard the tinkle of the glass breaking. They gave me a ticket for a broken taillight.

    These are two exceptions...

    1) no brake lights
    2) no lights during night-driving or inclement weather

You're right, they should. And other drivers should also know when they are in other drivers' blind spot. Works both ways.

maybe they should but they're not the ones changing lanes. theyre doing what they're supposed to be doing first and paying attention to driving.

you want to change lanes then your priority is to check before you do so.

I also get a sense that officer was biased, might have violated the ADA.

Or as experience has told me, women are favored in such traffic situations, in many situations in life as well.

Blind, improperly adjusted mirrors, no look lane change, using Microsoft Edge and Bing search while driving drunk, Uber driver distracted by your passenger Rudy Gay, two flat tires, engine on fire, shots fired at baby, updating Kevin Durant thread on Clutchfans with responses to everyone who post you're always wrong, reading linux for dummies, driving 65 in a school zone passing a short bus offloading Bing users, vaping weed and meth.

Everyone on the left of the OP was in his blind spot since he is blind in his left eye and has been driving without properly adjusted mirrors for his condition.
