The Knicks could probably have unloaded their bad contracts too, it's a long shot, but playoff teams get desperate for players sometimes.

I don't feel as if they have done their due diligence here (shocker, I know) I feel like they could have either...

A.) Gotten a better prospect than Dennis Smith.
    or
B.) Unloaded their bad contracts and kept Porzingis entirely.

Porzingis is right to want to get out of that place, clearly.

Butler and Boogie will get those max deals and it won't work out well

I just can't believe it. Knicks did not demand much in return. Knicks have inexperienced GM and terrible President.

Yeah, of course he will look, but I don’t think he will turn down a max with Dallas when it comes up. Just my opinion. I think he will like Dallas and Doncic.

Apparently they tried to get Anthony Davis first but Porzingis said he would not re-sign with them in the summer. No one wants to play in New Orleans. Not AD, not Porzingis, not Lonzo Ball. Damn they have it hard down there.

Yes it is better for the Mavs.
Otherwise Porzingis would want a max contract and they would have to give it to him without looking if hes healthy.

With a team with Doncic and a great coach and owner he cant get much better situations than that when he hits UFA.

Even if the Knicks get Durant and Irving they're not winning **** imo.

Great for the Mavs but would have been terrible for New Orleans.

I'd assume that Morey did not know KP wants QO next season.

Mavs eat up 37 million next year for 3 players
    Lee, Hardaway, KP's QO
    Mavs Total salary: $89 million

Mavs have 30 million cap room to acquire a star by dumping Power expiring contract.

Wow. Knicks are giving up on Porzi already? What the heck! They are in perpetual rebuilding mode since we beat them in the Finals more than two decades ago. LOL.

It was a stupid take, bordering on racism.

I mean there' s a good chance they'll never win a title because the chances are no star pairing will specifically. It won't be because they are white though.

Don't get your hopes up. Golden State already has them tabbed as their 10th and 11th guys off the bench.

If they have given their first I still would have taken this offer over the Lakers'.
With Jrue and possibly Zion you have 1 season to convince him to stay.

Honestly I wouldn’t mind seeing Deandre here. We could use his size and rebounding. We got eaten up by Mirotic and Okafor the other day on the boards because we lack size down low.
