    Rockets Receive
    Carmelo Anthony

    Reasoning: They get Melo.

    Knicks Receive
    Reggie Jackson
    Zhou Qi
    Tim Quartermann
    Shawn Long

    Reasoning: It's been said that they prefer a veteran PG and young prospects in return for Melo. Jackson was a disaster last season, but has shown borderline all-star potential in the past and is still just 27 years old. Taking a chance on Zhou Qi makes sense given the uncertainty of the Porzingis situation. Not exactly the package of their dreams, I'm sure, but beggars can't be choosers.

    Pistons Receive
    Ryan Anderson
    2nd Rd Pick from Houston

    Reasoning: By swapping Jackson for Anderson (same years, only slightly more money) they're able to balance their roster by pairing Drummond with a stretch PF and carving out PG minutes for Avery Bradley. I'm assuming the 2nd round pick is the minimum necessary sweetener in any Anderson deal.

    The good thing about the Pistons is that they want to shake up their roster, and the players that make sense to trade for from NY perspective were both on the trade block last season.

    - Harris is basically be a younger (and less good but well...) Melo, 3/4 who can rebound well and score in different ways.

    - Jackson is a pg (let's say...) which is the spot were they're weaker as today.

    Also both players have a salary pretty close to 20M which should make the trade not that difficult in terms of salary to move. What may bring some problems though, is if the Pistons want to dump Leuer which is basically another Meyers Leonard...but at the same time i don't really see how the Knicks can find a better player than Harris in this trade at this point, same for Jackson i'd say.

    I told everyone on here that Detroit was interested in Anderson because Tobias and SVG didn't see eye to eye but and I got crucified for it. Now you MF see what I was talking, SVG is a huge fan of Anderson and Anderson had his career year under SVG it's a match made in heaven.
