That's a very good parallel. Four-team deal came together very quickly around August 10... and most people considered Orlando's return extremely underwhelming. Essentially, the Magic were just tired of the headache of it all and moved on.

I honestly just got burnt out on the whole thing. I guess the odds are significantly in our favor. I have my doubts, pessism I guess.

 

Per Basketball-reference.com: 2014 pick Dario Saric and 2017 pick De'Aaron Fox. Orlando never had these guys, of course. The draft picks were traded in 2014 for the 10th pick of that draft, Efrid Payton.
